About the Certified Nursing Assistant role
As a certified nursing assistant with Resource One in Memphis, you'll provide in-home care for elderly and disabled clients — most within a short drive of where you live. Shifts are flexible: 4 to 16 hour shifts.
Every Resource One caregiver is a W-2 employee, bonded, and fully covered by liability and workers' compensation insurance. You focus on your client — we handle the rest.
What You'll Do
- ✓Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- ✓Help with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
- ✓Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- ✓Take and document vital signs as needed
- ✓Medication reminders and observation
- ✓Companionship, supervision, and clear communication with families

Resource One serves clients across Shelby County from our Cordova office, with assignments throughout Memphis — from East Memphis and Midtown to Whitehaven and Hickory Hill. Our community-based model means most caregivers work within a short drive of where they live.

- ✓Active TN CNA registry certification in good standing
- ✓1+ year of direct care experience
- ✓Valid driver's license OR state-issued ID
- ✓Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- ✓Reliable transportation to client homes

- +Hoyer lift / mechanical transfer experience
- +First aid / CPR certification
